Sue-Ella Signatures was born through our passion for making and giving meaningful, personalized, hand crafted gifts to family and friends on their "special" occasions. We called them "Precious memories captured in silver".

We personalized these precious gifts of jewellery, all made from fine silver, by adding imprints of Wedding dress lace, Christening gown lace or initials.

Our "Frame" type lockets would hold a special photo of children, loved ones, even pets and on request, a fingerprint or paw print as well. We made our Finger or Paw Print jewellery into a wide range of items from Charm Bracelets to Necklaces and Key Rings but everything we made had to have that special, personalized touch.

Our path took an unexpected direction when we received an enquiry from the Dwyer family for a very different collection of jewellery pieces. The request from this very special family was to place a fingerprint, from a loved one they had only just lost, in a locket along with a photograph that concealed a small amount of ashes.

The Dwyer family will remain in our hearts forever, as not only did they give us the opportunity to help them through a very difficult time, they also helped us to see the true value of Memorial and Keepsake jewellery. Our mission now, is to help more bereaved families find comfort and healing in a unique and personal way through our Keepsake jewellery and our Memorial jewellery.

The Memorial and Keepsake pieces have evolved through a special request and the need for those left behind to remember their loved ones with beautiful, meaningful jewellery.

The sense of loss can be overwhelming when you lose someone you love. During this difficult time Memorial jewellery can offer a unique source of comfort. Not only will you be carrying with you your memories but also something tangible to wear Close to your heart everyday.

Our Memorial lines include a range of lockets wherein we capture, prior to burial or cremation, your loved ones fingerprint. This unique imprint is in fine silver and can be placed on one side of the locket, leaving room for a photograph concealing either ashes or a lock of hair (fully enclosed) on the other. If you have already laid your loved one to rest and we are unable to capture a fingerprint for you, or that is not a way you would like to have your loved one remembered the Sue-Ella team is only too happy to consult with you on other options and items that can be captured and sealed in lockets. Let your imagination be the boundary.

To complement our unique range of hand made pieces, we can also offer you a choice of Memorial and Keepsake jewellery. These Memorial and Keepsake pieces can hold a small quantity of Ashes, Hair, Soil from a burial site or dried flowers from the service. In some cases, dried flowers may be more meaningful or appropriate as a Keepsake or Memorial for the bereaved.

A Memorial or Keepsake piece for dried flowers may also be valuable for those who have lost loved ones in the past and have only the flowers as a memento. How nice it would be for them to be able to carry with them, close to their heart, a

Memorial or Keepsake piece encapsulating a part of that bouquet.

Sue-Ella Signatures understand how hard even small things can become when you have lost a loved one. It can be very difficult to seek out a special memento in the conventional way when you do not feeling up to shopping.
